MAP AND DIRECTIONS TO THE BALBOA PAVILION

These two simple maps below will guide you to the Balboa Pavilion and parking from anywhere in southern California.

3. WRITTEN DIRECTIONS

A.    Travel to 55 Freeway. 

(1)  From the Los Angeles area, take 405 Freeway south or 5 Freeway south to 55 Freeway south.

(2)  From the Riverside / San Bernardino area, take 91 Freeway west to 55 Freeway south.

(3)   From
the San Diego area, take 5 Freeway north to 405 Freeway north to 55 Freeway south.


B.   The 55 Freeway ends at 19th Street in Costa Mesa and becomes Newport Boulevard.  (Do not turn on 19th Street, but keep going south on Newport Boulevard).

C.   Follow
Newport Boulevard south for 2.6 miles. (At this point you have reached the cross street of 21st Street in Newport Beach.  Do not turn on 21st Street!).

D.  
At this point, Newport Boulevard merges with Balboa Boulevard (You probably will not notice the merge).  Just  keep going.


        E.   Follow Balboa Boulevard east for 1.8 miles.

F.   Turn left on Main Street. (Main Street is regulated by a traffic light).  Travel 150-200 feet (about 50 meters) north on Main Street.

G.   Main Street dead ends at the Balboa Pavilion.

4. PARKING INFORMATION  
   
        Two blocks before
Main Street is Palm Street.  (There is a big overhead sign that says "Pier &         Parking "). 

        Make a right turn at Palm Street and proceed into the large municipal parking lot.  Parking is             $8.00 per day. 

        You may park a maximum of 7 days.

        You take a ticket when you enter the lot, and you pay when you exit the lot.
